The Grazon let out a curse. Curse all politics. To much stress. To much secrets. To tedious. Force worked out much better. In most cases at any rate. He moved toward his window and looked out over the scene. Yaglon would be having its fair at this time. He hadn't been there since he was a child. Would be nice to go back, unfortunatly he had to cover for the "king." He had the upmost respect for him, but did not beileve he desereved the throne. And that was something he should keep to himself. For now at least...

The Grazon's servants stood outside the door patiently. Though they were starting to get restless. Being in one place to long led to blood. Common rule for all Yaurion. "Perhapsss we should see if the masster requires any assssitance?" The other yaurion hissed at him. "We don't decide what he doesss! If he issss not doing anything, WE don't do anything! Have you forgotten your place?!" The other monk hissed back. One of the many nobles started walking down the hall. Recognizing the monks, and unaware of that there were not human. "MONKS! Is the grazon available?!" The two monks by the door held back anger, and their claws. "Yesss." A third yaurion nodded, and opened the door. "Masster, a man wishess to speak with you." The grazon looked up from a parchment containing complaints from a number of different nobles. He nodded his agreement. As the man tried to push past the servant, the yaurion reacted instinctively and shoved him back against the door frame. He then released his hand from his the worm's shoulder, and moved back towards the where the seven others where waiting in their own room. The man shivered and entered. "Where is his highness?! He was last seen talking to you, and I have pressing matters I must speak with him about! I demand you tell me now!" The grazon tilted his head slightly. "What do you need to speak with about?" The man did a snooty sigh. "I need not to tell you any of this information! It is only to be talked about with the king! Not the 'oh so glorious GRAZON' hmph. You self proclaimed blood thir-" The Grazon stood loudly, accidentally banging his knee on the table. "I advise you to watch your words. I have no patience to deal with squirmy little men who think they are better because you their have more wealth. If you need to speak with the king, you must go through me. Understood?" The man took a step back in fear. He tried to gather himself but he was obviously still shook. "I-i-it has to do with stepping up civilian taxes.." The grazon glared at the much smaller man. "I advise you to wait a few days." He walked around his desk towards the noble. "He does not want to talk about these matters in the least. If I hear you even attempted to speak with him... well. I'm not much of a noble." He signaled the man to leave, as he did he heard the man cursing his name under his breath. The Grazon wished Xanatos wouldn't be gone to much longer. This was the eighth noble to bother him. The yaurion had already offered to kill them, but that was just cause more problems. It's had been a day and half already. He was to return soon, and the he himself could leave.

Xanatos approached the castle from the back where a secret entrance known only to a few allowed him to slip in and out without notice. At his approach the door opened due to the attentive watch stationed at the secret passage and the guard took his weary horse to the stable just inside of the door. Xanatos quickly made his way through the well lit and maintained passageway. When he emerged finally through a hidden door in his personal chambers he navigated the castle's halls until he came to the Grazon's door. Glancing at the monks stationed at either side he came to a stop. "Is your master in his room currently? I need to speak with him."

The servant looked Xanatos up and down. Turning he walked in to his leader's room. The other monks were all staring at Xanatos. How easy it would be to kill this man. They had the element of surprise. But no, their will was the Grazon's. The prior monk returned, and held the door open for the king and quietly shut it as he entered. "My liege. It's always an honor. How fared your journey?" The Grazon hardly glanced up from the parchment he was reading. He was irritated, stuck inside to long.

Xanatos walked in, not bothering to hide his limp. The pain was to great to even attempt to appear uninjured. "I'm afraid my journey was not as fruitful as I had wished, but I did learn a few things I wish I hadn't. Have you heard the name Craze before?" He looked around at the other monks. The way they were eying him made him wary. They looked at him not as a potential threat, but more as prey. He assumed the monks were the Grazon's bodyguards for all of them betrayed some sort of combat skill even though they pretended to be pacifist monks. He had been around warriors for too long not to recognize the body or movements of a fighter.

The name made him glance up. "Craze?" Anything to do with that madman had to be very hindering. He placed his papers down and gave his full attention to Xanatos. "He's locked up for well over three life sentences. A murder who feeds off mayhem. Why?" The monks continued to stare at the young king, they smelled the stench from his wound. While faint, it was there, such an arousing aroma.

"Because apparently he got off early for good behavior and proceeded to send his people out to terrorize the fair while he made his escape, but not after crossing swords with me and wounding me. He said that this was the first of his plans to ravage the kingdom and plunge it into chaos. Because of my injury, I am not fit for travel, much less combat. Therefore I need somebody to track down Craze and bring him back into custody, or kill him, considering that he just escaped from prison. Now unless you believe that there is someone more capable, I would like you to go out and try to take care of him. Also I have heard reports of a tower appearing out of nowhere. I would appreciate more information on this tower, such as who the master of it is, who his allegiance lies with, defenses, troops, and if he is a potential threat to this kingdom. You will have any of my men, supplies, and horses at your disposal that you may require, should you decide to assist me. If not I could always find someone else, but no one I believe quite so capable as yourself."

"Capable? Im honored. Would I be doing this investigation on my own? Or could I anticipate help from his highness?" The Grazon folded his hands together and in a very professional tone stated, "But of course I will look into these... occurrences for you. It would bring me no greater Pleasure my Liege."

Xanatos folded his hands behind his back before answering the Grazon. "You will have assistance by me, but not personally however, due to the wound Craze gave me. It will be indirect assistance in the way of as much manpower, supplies and resources that I am putting at your disposal that you may require. If not for this wound, I would personally assist you in this matter to see things firsthand but that is not feasible at the moment. And I've been away from the throne long enough. My duties will take some time to catch up to, but not nearly as much if you hadn't helped me. For this I thank you. I can focus more on rest and healing now and be able to head out again in much less time."

The Grazon nodded. Finally, something to get him back out in the open. This tower intrigued him, he hadn't heard anything about it either. "It will be my honor my lord." He sat back in his chair, looking up at Xanatos. "Is there anything else?"

Shaking his head, Xanatos turned to leave. When he reached the door, he turned back briefly. "Just head out as soon as you are able." With this he took his leave. Making his way through the castle halls towards his room as quickly as he could and limping heavily now he motioned for a passing servant to bring a healer to his quarters as quickly as possible. The pain was at this point agonizing and he was unable to attempt to hide it any longer. When he reached his room, he unlocked the door after several feeble attempts, then barely made it to one of his chairs before his leg collapsed under him.

The Grazon signed a few more papers, and called his servants in. "We are off on a trip. There's a tower that seems to have risen out of nowhere. Pack my things. We leave as soon as we are able." The Yaurion bowed, and ran off to get ready. Interesting things where happening in Aragohm. And Craze was running out of days.
