[shadow=red,left,300][glow=red,2,300]Faoline[/glow][/shadow]
Faoline are cloud creatures that are both beautiful and mishievious. It is often said that thunderstorms are caused by the sound of their hoofbeats as they gallop across the sky. As a result, superstitions say that the creatures were born as a jest by the greek gods of myths. It is often hard to tell if one truly saw a Faoline or not because they blend right in to the clouds. As such, little is known about them or how they came to be. It is said that they watch over the seas and can often be seen over the mountains or near the dragon lands.
[glow=red,2,300]Faora[/glow]
Faora are night creatures with a luminescent white coat that seems to glow when the moon is full. Very little is known about this creature other than it lives in the forest and has fox-like characteristics. It's mortal enemy is the Klairion and has a natural aversion to the dreaded creature of shadow. It's luminescent coat repels the brute which gives this watcher a slight advantage over it. It spends its time protecting the creatures of the wood as well as travelers passing through. The Faora feeds on herbs and berries that it finds in the elven forest.
[glow=red,2,300]Melanctha[/glow]
The melanctha is a majestic shadow bird that is said to most often reseamble a phoenix. It thrives at night when all is quiet. It is often the subject of bedtime stories used to scare little children into being good. The melanctha may be eye stunning, but it is very deadly. It is said that it hypnotizes it's prey by it's reagal looking features then strikes, burning it with cold shadow like flames before swallowing it alive. Unlike a pheonix, a melanctha is not reborn in flames, but lives forever unless someone kills it. As of now though, no weapon has been found that can harm the beast and one best hope that you never get close enough to one to test the weapon. For if it fails, your life is forfeit.
[glow=red,2,300]IceLichenez[/glow]
This creature is very rare, and seen mainly only in icey regions. Their cousin, the Lichenez, is far more common, but far less deadly. This creature will become one with ice, and then appear behind a victim for a meal. Though they are very rare, they should be feared. Only the most expeirenced of warriors can fight them, and walk away. These creatures are more so cowards, than a beast.
[glow=red,2,300]Sabouerf[/glow]
Similar to a wolf, but much harder to kill. They normally dwell in forests, but are known to live in other areas as well. They can be found in just about all regions, though not as well clumped as in the woods. They kill savegly, and only leave a small amount of blood as proof. Their main weakness is fire, they fear it terribly, and will flee from the sight of it, unless they have a pack leader. The leaders are fearless, which makes them seem brave, or foolish.
[glow=red,2,300]Malakanor[/glow]
These are bugs that can be found all over. Quite a bit bigger than normal bugs, plus they are a mosquito to the extreme. They first assault victims, mainly by dive bombing them repeatedly. Once the poor fool is knocked out, or dead, they land, and suck the blood. The end result makes the victims look as they they are skeletons, just barley retaing their skin.
