They believe that the humans are retarded and irresponsible. They feel that they are smarter and above the humans socially. The Gnome society is ran and governed by a republic. Each part of the Gnomington has a representative that represents them in the government. Gnomington also has the Shaedru Council also Known as the Council of Magical Gnomes. This is a council of 12 of the wisest, magical gnomes in the whole world. They train gnomes that are worthy of a life of servitude to the magic. These Gnomes who have followed down this path are called Shaedru. They train their whole lives to master the magic that they posses. The Shaedru's main purpose is to protect the world from evil and keep the peace among the races. When a Gnome dies it is believed that they are dissolved within the magic and the magic that the Gnomes use is actually their ancestors.

If a male Gnome does not have facial hair it is a sign that he does not have power with the Gnome magic. This is actually quite rare.

A short lived race, they rule the eastern half of Aragohm with many kingdoms scattered throughout the land. They hold a strong prejudice against the ancient dragon race over an irrational fear of the unknown. Starting many thousands of years ago, the humans started hunting that which they did not understand, starting with the fearsome dragons. The battle continued until about 20,000 years ago when a collection of humans and dragons had grown tired of the constant bloodshed. Through a magical means a number of dragons and humans were combined into one new race called the drakón designed to become a group dedicated to creating a lasting peace between the two races. This peace lasted a short time before the humans once again started hunting. They have pushed the drakón back to the southeastern corner of Aragohm and continue to attempt to eradicate these "abominations".

A race very much like humans except for one difference, they have a complete control of magic without the limitations that the elves have. They can easily blend in with humans, though the only difference is their features tend to be more fair. Some call this race angels due to their growing wings when they reach their 100th year. Very little is known about them to know for sure what they are, how they came to be, or even how powerful their abilities are. They came relatively recently to Aragohm 500 years ago and avoid a lot of contact with the other leading races. They are thought to live at least as long as the dwarves, and perhaps as long as the elves.
There are three types of celestials. The first type are the white-winged celestials which can control light as well as wind. The second type are the brown-winged celestials which can control earth and wind. The third type is the black-winged celestials; they can control fire, darkness, and wind which makes them great warriors.
All of the celestial races make great warriors, although they haven't chosen sides in the war as of yet. It remains to be seen what side they will choose.

The werewolves of the far off islands snuck aboard the ships of the Minotuars. They were the main reason of the absence of the warrior race. The werewolves became too vicious, and killed everything in their lands, and further off as well. Though only a few of these creatures survived the trip to Aragohm. They are fairly primitive, but act like a tribe. They are capable of speech but prefer to speak with their claws and teeth. So they aren't the smartest race, but they are capable of intelligent conduct.

Half breeds are those who are not a full blooded race. Some examples are half-elves, werewolves, and drakón. All have some traces of human blood mixed in with the other and all have some sort of marking, like a birthmark, identifying their non-human blood. (Drakòn have a dragon, half-elves would have something to do with nature, werewolves would have a wolf, etc.)This mark can be any size and in any location. Half-breeds are normally treated as outcasts by most races, and in some cases, hunted down to try to eradicate the species.[/td]

Jevaken are hard to recognize. They are few, but are also a type of shapeshifters. They usually work as assassins, but can do just about anything else. No one knows how they came to be. Water fairies live where there is usually a lot of water and are generally known for their calm attitudes, although there are exceptions as for any race. Earth fairies live generally anywhere rocks do, but unfortunately a fire destroyed most of the colonies and as a result there are very few left. Earth fairies are known for their courageous and brave behavior. Air fairies are usually found in rather windy places. Since they are very hard to catch little is known about them other than the fact that they tend to be mischievious. If you catch a fairy or befriend one they will stay with you for life and protect you no matterwhat happens to them.
