[glow=teal,2,300]Linnadhiel (Lin-nah-thee-ell) [/glow]Age:
100 but looks like an 18-year old
Gender:
Female
Race:
Elf
Rings:
N/A at the moment
Occupation:
Bard
Eye color:
Linnadhiel has eyes as green as emeralds that seem to sparkle whenever she is enjoying herself though when she is upset or angry they appear dull or look like dark clouds when they are threatening to rain.
Hair color-style:
Linnadhiel has dark auburn hair that’s as soft as silk that cascades down to the middle of her back. In the sunlight there seem to be silver highlights in her hair that glisten when moved even slightly. Linnadhiel keeps part of it pulled back in a braid and adorns it with a string of pearls protected by magic so that only she can touch them. She wears an elegant silver headband with a single diamond in the center across her forehead for an accent.
Clothing:
Linnadhiel wears a short-sleeved white blouse underneath an elegant vest; the blouse has poofy sleeves that look as if they might be clouds, the neckline has a lace border around it that accents the cloud-like texture of the blouse. The vest is held together by a pendant that rests just under her neck-line, it looks so sleek and silky that it appears to be made out of silver or some type of material close to it. Across her shoulder is a silver strap that she uses to carry her instruments in as well as her bow and arrows. Linnadhiel wears black pants that are both elegant and comfortable at the same time, in fact, this particular pair was made so well that Linnadhiel can walk through brush and trees without fear of it tearing or wearing out. Her white leather boots are just as comfortable as the pants, allowing Linnadhiel to walk for hours without her feet hurting.
Weapons:
As an elf, Linnadhiel is skilled with bow and arrow as well as a sword. Across her shoulder, she carries a bag of silver-tipped arrows that hit their target almost every time with deadly accuracy. The bow she uses is a strong bow built from the bark of an ancient and almost magical tree with a silver handle on it. The string is strong, made from the finest unicorn hair from the elf queen’s own unicorn companion. Her sword is made from the finest metal known and can cut a full grown tree in two with ease. The hilt has a silver band with a cross at the very end. The sheath black decorated with silver designs.
Personality:
Linnadhiel is kind and gentle to the point where she seems quiet and shy to those who don’t know her. She loves to have fun and will often be seen playing with the fairies or singing to the birds, enjoying watching them fly around in time to her singing. Linnadhiel loves children and spends time with them every chance she gets especially Alassiel, Alayna’s little sister who was such a joy to be around. True to her friends, Linnadhiel will be there for her friends whenever they need her. If you are the person who harms or threatens her friends, you would do best to run. Though slow to anger, the one thing that will make Linnadhiel angry almost instantaneously is if someone threatens her friends or family. If you are the unlucky person to make her angry, you’ll wake up the next morning surrounded by carnivorous plants and tied to a tree with some vines in the middle of nowhere.
Special abilities:
As an elf, Linnadhiel has the ability to control plants. This includes making new plants grow out soil, molding plants into a certain shape, and controlling plants already grown. She can also to some extent control water, but this is very limited. Elves can cause it to rain on the forest during a drought but as they are more plant oriented, it takes massive amounts of energy to accomplish this. Linnadhiel also has the ability to change into small animals but is very limited when it comes to this as she can only hold the shape for so long. She is also able to command animals with little effort.
Fighting style:
Linnadhiel is a skilled archer and swordsman. When aiming a bow she has a serene expression rarely seen other than when she’s concentrating on her target. Her aim is impeccable; she never misses her target unless something is horribly wrong, in fact, her aim is so good that she can hit a target head-on 8 acres away. As a swordsman she can take down multiple opponents with a few swings of her sword. Her skill is so great that she appears to be dancing when attacking with the sword. In fact, her fighting style is more like a dance than anything. Linnadhiel is graceful and quick, able to avoid most attacks with little notice as a result of her quick reflexes.
Other:
Linnadhiel travels with Faelie, her constant companion ever since she first met her as a young fairy at age 4. They have grown up together and are inseparable even today. She carries a harp made out of magical wood called rosewood. The harp has a faint rosy color to it and has a rose carved into the corner of it along with some elegant carvings along the sides. The strings are made out of unicorn hair and give off the most beautiful sound that even the shyest of creatures come near Linnadhiel when the harp is played
History:
Ever since she was little, Linnadhiel loved to go out into the forest and explore. When she was four years old she came across a little blue fairy about the size of a flower petal. The little fairy had been left all alone to die because it was different. Linnadhiel felt sorry for the little fairy, took her in, and gave her the name Faelie because she reminded her of the delicate flowers. A year later, Faelie and Linnadhiel were exploring a different part of the forest when they came across an elf about her age named Alayna with her little sister, Alassiel, toddling along beside her. Ever since that day the two have been inseparable. An only child, Linnadhiel saw Alayna as the sister she never had while Alayna saw Linnadhiel as the sister she always wanted; some time passed and the two friends were exploring the forest when Alayna spotted something. It was a little earth fairy badly burned by a fire. Linnadhiel and Faelie helped Alayna carry the injured earth fairy back to the village so that they could give her the help she needed. Years went by and the two became closer than ever, always including each other in everything. When Alayna was given a 4-year old Drakòn to support, Linnadhiel helped raise her as well including some training with weapons and fighting that she knew the young Drakòn named Taji would need later in her life. Linnadhiel first decided to become a bard when a traveler came across their village and heard her sing. The traveler immediately fell in love with her voice and sought out the source of the voice. Days went by before the traveler finally found the Linnadhiel, he had been sent by some very important people to find a singer worthy of the harp he was carrying. Linnadhiel took the harp and fell in love with it. Ever since then, she was been a bard and wherever she goes people gather around to hear the beautiful music coming from the harp as well as Linnadhiel’s equally beautiful voice.
Appearance:
At 5’8” Linnadhiel is a little on the tall side; built like an athlete, she is slim but not anorexic skinny. Her voice sounds like bells chiming or rain drops falling on leaves; Linnadhiel’s voice calms even the most restless person. Her love of children makes her fun and easy going, the children love to make her laugh because Linnadhiel’s laughter is almost as beautiful as her voice.
