A darker blue mane runs from the top of his head down to his long elegant tail. Larger, almost plate-like scales protect his chest and stomach. His wings, a lighter blue than his scales, are large and magnificent, each larger than his body giving him excellent flight capabilities. Leather straps criss-cross his body holding his weapons and various bags in place. He forgoes other clothing due to it restricting his motion. His katana are strapped to his back in an X shape, but out of the way of his wings. His shorter swords are strapped to his lower back horizontally allowing him to reach them in an instant. The largest of his knives are strapped to his upper thighs and his smaller knives are attached to his ankles. All this is hidden beneath his all encompassing robe that hides all his details from prying eyes.
History:
Makaidos has had a long and unfortunate history beginning when he was about 5 years old. His father, Maelstrom, was taking his son to see more of the world. Ambushed one night by dragon slayers, they tortured and killed his father and mother before his very eyes. Stricken with grief and rage, Makaidos took the slayers by surprise, killing one of them then escaping with his father's ring, sword, and his life...barely.
Alone and lost in the elven forest, Makaidos stumbled upon an ancient elf named Brom. The old elf, longing for companionship, took pity on the terrified draconic child and adopted him. The elf taught Makaidos all that he knew ranging from plant lore to combat to forging.
The elf, recognizing the rare metal that Maelstrom's sword was made of, convinced him to melt down the massive blade and construct his own weapons from the ore. The weapons, when finished amazed even Brom, who was a master forger. Recognizing the vast abilities that Makaidos had, Brom taught the young dragon secrets and histories that had been lost to the world long ago.
But for Makaidos this peace would not last. When he was 14, two thieves had learned of Brom's wherebouts and decided this legendary elf would have some fantastic treasures. Coming to him with the guise of weary travelers, they volunteered to cook a meal for him in exchange for his hospitality. However, unknown to the elf, the thieves had slipped poison into Brom's dish. As the ancient elf writhed in his death throes, the thieves proceded to take everything in site, pleased with the ease of their success.
However, Makaidos was absent that day running errands for his foster father. He returned finding the door ajar and everything in shambles. But his greatest horror came when he found Brom long dead sprawled on the floor and his true father's ring gone.
Enraged Makaidos used what Brom had taught him to track down the thieves and murder them in cold blood. Horrified at what he had done, Makaidos fled to the lonliest reaches of the forest for the next year.
He eventually got over his feelings and ventured out of his forced solitude. Roaming the land, Makaidos became a mercenary for hire, but only if the jobs didn't go against his personal code of honor.
Now Makaidos travels the whole of Aragohm, disguised and unknown to all.
