Many years ago, near the end of the magic war and the third age, a number of rings were chosen to contain the magic of Aragohm. Since that time, and through misuse, carelesness and other reasons, most of the rings have been lost to all, but if you could find these powerful rings, it would give you an advantage like no other.
(All the races except the Minotaur and Celestials can use these rings since they were not part of the spell that imprisoned the magic, thusly they were not added in to the races that could wield them. The drakòn, even though they are impervious to magic and cannot use it themselves, can use these rings with the same effect as any other race, and are affected just as much as any other as the rings control the old magic, the magic the drakón had been able to use.)
The rings, powerful as they are, depend on the strength and knowledge of the user. As the rings are used, they sap the user's strength gradually, until they can fight no more. Those who know how the rings are used caution others never to overuse these as it can kill the wearer. Also with the knowledge of the rings, the user has to practice with it, otherwise they will never get any better, and will have no idea of the full potential of the rings. The bearer can wear up to four rings at a single time, but different rings can combine to create a single, multipowered ring.
Below are names and the abilities of various rings of Aragohm, and their known locations (if they are known).
